Horizon Warranty Terms and Conditions

1. Limited Warranty Duration

This limited warranty (“Warranty”) covers your used appliance for a period of three (3) months from the date of purchase (“Warranty Period”).

2. Warranty Coverage

During the Warranty Period, Horizon will replace, at its sole discretion, any parts or components of the used appliance that are found to be defective in materials or workmanship under normal use conditions. This Warranty covers functional defects only and does not extend to cosmetic defects or damages.

3. Exclusions

This Warranty does not cover:

  • Cosmetic defects such as scratches, dents, or other non-functional blemishes.
  • Damage from improper installation, misuse, abuse, accidents, or unauthorized modifications.
  • Damage caused by acts of nature (lightning, flood, fire, etc.).
  • Consumable parts including filters, bulbs, or batteries.

4. Warranty Claim Process

To submit a warranty claim, please contact Horizon’s customer support or create a support ticket through the Help Center on our official website.

5. Delivery Fee for Returns

Customers are responsible for all return shipping and delivery costs. Horizon will not be liable for any damage or loss that occurs during return shipping. Items must be securely packaged to prevent damage in transit.

6. Warranty Services

  • If the appliance is repairable, a technician will be dispatched at no cost to the customer.
  • If repair is not satisfactory or preferred, an exchange may be offered for a compatible product.
  • Customers wishing to return the item may do so at their own cost, or Horizon can arrange the return for a $90 fee.

7. Refund Policy

If a compatible replacement product cannot be provided, Horizon will issue a refund for the original purchase price, excluding any shipping or delivery fees.

8. Limitation of Liability

Horizon’s liability is limited to the replacement or refund outlined above. Horizon is not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to appliance use or performance.

9. Non-Transferable Warranty

This Warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser of the appliance.

10. Exchange Policy for Customers Outside 35km Radius

  • Horizon will offer an exchange for covered appliances outside a 35km radius.
  • We cover up to $90 of the delivery fee. Any additional cost must be paid by the customer.
  • If the customer chooses to return the item instead of exchanging it, they are responsible for the full delivery fee or may return the item independently at their own expense.

11. Misusage Fee

If misuse of the appliance is detected after the first two weeks of delivery, an $80 technician fee will apply. No fee will be charged during the first two weeks even if misuse is identified.
